JUVEDERM® VOLUMA with Lidocaine is a dermal filler made of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and an anesthetic in an injectable gel. Inject this dermal filler with Lidocaine subcutaneously or into the upper periosteal or deep dermis to restore volume to skin tissue or add volume to areas such as the cheeks. It is manufactured by Allergan, a leading pharmaceutical company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
The mixture of Lidocaine helps the patients to feel less pain during the treatment process. Its numbing effect gives them a comfortable sensation while the treatment is ongoing.
