RESTYLANE® DEFYNE™ is a gel made of cross-linked hyaluronic acid in particular particle size, with low levels of free hyaluronic acid to reduce the chance of swelling. This injectable implant also contains lidocaine, which acts as an anesthetic to reduce needle pain. Inject RESTYLANE® DEFYNE™ into the deep dermis or upper subcutaneous layer to correct deep wrinkles and folds. It is manufactured by Galderma, a pharmaceutical company headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Treatment involving RESTYLANE® DEFYNE™ includes facial parts, such as the nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette lines (vertical lines in between the chin and mouth), and other forms of wrinkles around the face.
